Sponsored by the Highland Commerce Guild

Photographers were encouraged to capture the many unique treasures of
The Highlands – the wild, the wonderful and the weird!

Photos could include but were not limited to the following:
streetscapes, people, architecture, as well as
favorite places such as Cave Hill, Farmington and Cherokee Park.

There was a $15 Entry Fee which allowed up to three photos to be entered.
Judging occured in September 2008 and prizes were awarded to
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place – inclucing honorable mentions.
There were fifteen Highlands’ businesses who contributed prizes, which were awarded
to the winners at a ceremony at Gilda's Club Louisville.

Top prizes were from Murphy’s Camera ($250 Gift Certificate),
Chuck Rubin Photographics ( Nikon Coolpix Digital Camera),
and National City Bank ($100 Gift Card).

Proceeds supported the mission of the HCG and
a portion was donated to Gilda's Club Louisville.
